Completed at the Newport Pagnell works in July of 1980, this V8 Volante was sold new to Swiss distributor Hans Fischer. As judged by the superb condition today, this Aston has always enjoyed proper care and maintenance in correct and loving ownership. Showing just over 66,000 Km (41,000 miles), this V8 was sold in November of 1997 to its next owner, Markus Stebler, also a Swiss resident. During the early 2000s, Mr. Stebler commissioned a rebuild of the matching-numbers engine (approx. 18,000 since) and sympathetically freshened the car for event use, enjoying the Volante on three tours of the British Classic Car Meeting St. Moritz through the Swiss Alps. In 2015, it was sold to another well-known Swiss Aston collector and AMOC member, Mr. D. Waltenberg. In Mr. Walternbergs ownership, this V8 ran the St. Moritz event yet again on several occasions. This V8 Volante has been religiously cared for and maintained as needed and as shown in its tremendous record file.

Registered in Switzerland from new and until only recently. Recently imported to the United States, this early carbureted V8 Volante is in excellent in all respects and has always been serviced and maintained by well-known Aston Martin specialists. It is complete with original owners handbook, factory tools, build sheet and large ownership, service and restoration file. This V8 Volante is ready for immediate use and enjoyment and has no disappointments.
