Windsor Red metallic with Magnolia leather interior piped in Burgundy, Burgundy carpeting, Factory 5-Speed ZF manual gearbox, 11,000 miles since Aston Martin Works restoration to late specification V8 Vantage X-Pack mechanicals and bodywork.

Completed at the Newport Pagnell works in January of 1980, this V8 Oscar India Coupe was sold new to Industrial Buildings, Ltd, a company in Uxbridge, UK. After a few years it then passed on to a Norwegian gentleman, Mr. T. Johannessen. It was during this ownership the V8 received its AM Works restoration and upgrades. Mr. Johannessen commissioned the factory to upgrade the engine to then current X-Pack specifications. This work included the installation of Cosworth pistons, larger carburetors with a modified intake manifold, a large-bore air box as well as a factory sport exhaust system. The car was also updated to late style V8 Vantage X-Pack bodywork at this time, it also received a suspension handling kit.

Although with limited use since restoration, the V8 returned to the AM Works in 2015 for a full servicing of its mechanicals, rebuild of the suspension, differential and braking systems. Pristine throughout, this V8 Vantage has always been maintained, serviced and restored when and where needed with the best intentions to keep it in excellent condition throughout. It is superb in every way and it is indeed ready for immediate use and enjoyment!
