1968 Bentley

T series 1 sedan

Sand over Olive with Parchment leather interior and Parchment carpeting, Sympathetically restored throughout the years, 6.2 liter V-8 engine, Automatic transmission.

Appearing In 1965, the Bentley T and Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow were a complete break from the previous Silver Cloud and Bentley S models. The new Bentley T introduced unitary chassis/body construction and independent suspension all around. The proven 6.2 litre V-8 was maintained as well as the traditional hand-craftmanship of the highest order. Bentley Ts were built in far fewer numbers that the Rolls-Royce version, with the ratio being 11 Silver Shadows for every 1 Bentley. Thus the Bentley is the far rarer car, especially in the United States where very few were imported.

As the original build sheet for this car attests, this T Series was an original USA delivery example. It was repainted in 1990 and remains in excellent condition. It has been owned by a handful of collectors throughout the years who have used it, but who have also taken very good care of its as the last two decades of service records attest. Owners have continued to sympathetically refurbish the car as needed while maintaining originality. It is a great running and driving example with every electrical option in good working order and air conditioning that blows cold.

This Bentley features a well documented history including build sheets, service record binder and owners manual. A tool kit, jack and two keys complete the package.
