550 Maranello

Nero (Black) with Black leather interior and Black carpeting, 10,000 miles from new, 5.5 Liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, 6-speed gated manual transmission, Daytona-style seats, Scuderia shields, Well-serviced, Exceptional throughout, Collector owned.

In 1996, the 550 Maranello launched the return of Ferraris 2-seater, front-engine V12 model, the first since the 365GTB/4 Daytona left production in 1973. The V12 delivers exhilarating performance with 478 hp at 7,000 rpm and 419 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm resulting in 0-60mph in just 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 185mph, making the 550 one of the fastest cars in the world. The 550 was the last of all Ferrari production models to only be offered in a manual transmission, as F1 style paddle-shift gearboxes started to take over with later models. Just over 3,000 550 Maranellos were produced as the 550 would become a true icon of the prancing horse and highly desirable among collectors and drivers alike to this day.

Originally purchased in California, this 550 has been collector and enthusiast owned since new. It has always been well serviced and cared for regardless of use as shown in the exceptional condition it shows today. The recent major service was done by Patrick Ottis in Berkeley, California with further servicing from GTO Engineering in Los Angeles including fuel pumps, new tires, no sticky switches and presents with no leather shrinkage. The 550 is complete with all books, tools, keys and optional spare tire kit. In exceptional condition and with only 10,000 miles, this 550 is ready for immediate grand touring or around town enjoyment.
