1973 BMW

2002 Tii

Inka Orange with Black interior, Black carpeting, Ivory Headliner, Restored, 2.0 liter inline 4-cylinder engine, 4-Speed manual gearbox, Collector owned, Exceptional throughout.

The BMW 2002 is regarded as the genesis of modern BMW. Introduced in the mid-1960s, the Neue Klasse sedan was an instant hit and paved the way for the modern sport sedan, becoming BMWs strong suit carried through to this day. The 2002 (Two-Liter, Two door sedan) was updated throughout its production and culminated with the tii fuel injected model. The tii also featured MacPherson suspension and enlarged front disc brakes. 1973 was the final year of the iconic chrome bumper Roundie taillights and the tii only accounted for about 10% of all 2002 production.

This Inka Orange tii was restored in previous collector ownership. It was fitted with front cloth sport seats for extra cornering support. It has been excellently cared for over its life as judging by its superb condition as presented today with all systems in working order and as originally intended. Showing 61,000 miles, this restored tii is ready for immediate grand touring enjoyment and would certainly be a showpiece at any BMW event or other vintage car show. This 2002 is complete with its original manual, jack, spare wheel and Coco mats.
