The Range Rover needs no introduction as one of the worlds most iconic go anywhere, all terrain 4x4s. This early 3-door Classic was produced August 2, 1973 and exported and sold to its first owner in France. While early history is unknown, this Range Rover was comprehensively restored just 200 miles ago by marque specialists, Legacy Overland in Greenwich, CT.
During the restoration, all body components were media blasted, coated and finished with multiple rounds painting and wet sanding. The exterior was finished in iconic Bahama Gold with the wheels and bumpers finished in the correct shade of Silver. The interior was redone with Saffron velvet cloth seats, Palomino trim and Brown carpeting. The dash was also fitted with all new gauges. Mechanically, the 3.5 liter V8 engine with dual Solex carburetors was rebuilt as was the suspension.
While in recent collector ownership, this Range Rover was fully serviced by Autosport Designs to ensure it is turn-key and all systems working as intended. In exceptional condition throughout, a recent road test attests to the car performing excellent in every way, and it is indeed ready for immediate use and enjoyment.
