This DB5 was original delivered through Aston Martin agent St. Helier, Jersey, The Channel Islands to its first registered owner, Mr. T.F. Horn, Warwickshire, UK. Subsequent history is included in its extremely large history file.

In 2015, this DB5 was entrusted to UK marque specialists, The Aston Workshop, Durham, UK for a comprehensive restoration. The body-off restoration is photo documented and has left no stone unturned. Invoices totaling approximately $900,000 include restoration to concours standards to include RHD to LHD conversion, New engine block uprated to 4.2 liters (original engine block is supplied). Uprated 5-speed manual gearbox, Uprated air conditioning, Suspension handling kit, Telescopic rear shock conversion, Power steering, Aluminum radiator, Uprated headlamp lighting as well as, hidden inertia reel safety belts.
