Viper RT/10 Roadster

--Viper Red with Grey leather interior and Black carpeting, 310 MILES FROM NEW, 8.0 liter V-10 engine 400hp and 465 lb-ft of torque, 6-speed manual gearbox, excellent in every way.

The Viper Roadster has been touted by Caroll Shelby as the “Spiritual Successor” to his 427 Cobra from the 1960's. Under the one-piece clam-shell hood lies a massive 8.0 Liter, Pushrod, 20 valve, V-10 with an aluminum block and heads and port fuel injection. Putting down 400hp and 465 lb-ft of torque, this open top roadster goes from 0 to 60 in a scant 4.3 seconds and will cover the standing ¼ mile in 12.8 seconds at 109 mph. A 6-Speed manual Tremec T-56 will get you rowing through the gears with ease, and a limited-slip differential transfers the power to the massive 335/35/17 inch rear wheels and in turn to the ground.

Classic roadster styling on the outside with modern, (for the time) appointments inside. Behind the factory three-spoke steering wheel is a white faced speedometer and tachometer, accompanied by auxiliary gauges mounted at the center stack. Classic grey leather bucket style seats hug the occupant and keep them planted in position. A factory stereo with dual 8in sub woofers will keep you entertained, but the sound of the massive V-10 exiting through OEM side pipes is music to anyone's ears.

Additional details include a targa-style roll bar, Viper R/T 10 badging and a surprising lack of exterior door handles. There are no windows or fixed roof, if you get caught in the wet, the Viper does come with removable hard top as well as a soft top and side curtain plexi-glass windows. Additionally the R/T 10 comes with the original books, keys and remotes, license plate bracket, original window sticker and its owner's manual and VHS tape.

This exceptional original Viper had just 23 miles from new when first purchased by Autosport Designs. It was kept in a vast collection for the first 16 years; virtually undriven except for regular maintenance drives. It has remained with another collector in Illinois since, keeping the car in exceptional condition with all original accessories intact.

We are proud to have this Viper back in our stable from a great friend and customer who only put about 250 miles on the car under his ownership. Now with a mere 300 Original Miles on the clock the car has been freshly serviced and new tires installed.

It is turn-key ready for immediate collectability and touring pleasure.
