365 GTC/4

--Azzuro Metalizatto with Blue leather interior and Blue carpets, Restored, Borrani wire wheels with Michelin XWX tires, Documented by Massini.

Designated for the U.S. market, this particular 365 GTC/4 was delivered new to Bill Harrahs Modern Classic Motors in Reno, Nevada. It is believed that the car was kept by Harrah himself as personal transportation and as such it is likely the July 1972 Road & Track magazine cover car with the full road test featured inside.

The car was later recorded as being owned by Paul Exton of Eureka, California, still in its original color combination of Grigio Argento over Nero Cogolo with red inserts. It remained on the West Coast until at least 1985 and prior to purchase by Dan Harwitz of Miami, Florida. By this time it had been painted Azzurro Metallizzato paintwork with had a new black leather interior.

In May of 2011, the car had been purchased by Mario Bernardi of Hann-Münden, Germany. During his ownership, the car was fully restored and refinished yet again in its lovely shade of Azzurro Metallizzato. It returned to the United States in 2013 when purchased by Autosport Designs, Inc. and on behalf of one of our clients. We were instructed to reupholster the interior in Blue leather with matching Blue carpets to bring this GTC/4 to absolutely superb condition throughout and as presented today.

Taken on trade in March of 2018, this 365 GTC/4 was subsequently sold almost immediately to a well-known collector in Connecticut. During this time, it has its nose band painted body color and was maintained by the in-house collection team. During this ownership it has accumulated 2,000 miles of trouble free Ferrari V12 motoring. Back with Autosport Designs for sale once again, we are extremely happy to once again offer this GTC/4 for sale.

Serviced by Autosport Designs to ensure it is in excellent running condition, this 365 GTC/4 is accompanied by a healthy file of service and restoration documentation and is one of the best available.
