The original M3, known to BMW enthusiasts as the E30 M3, was a true homologation special. Through BMWs racing program in the late 1980s, they were required to build 5,000 road cars in order to compete in Group A racing. The S14 engines used in the E30 M3's are essentially a chopped-down version of the M1 supercar's big straight six. Around 5115 vehicles originally made it to North America during its run here from model years 1988-1991. While those production numbers more than satisfied the Group A homologation requirements, M3s didn't exactly flood the streets. It was a vehicle built to race and was used as such until the coming years where the vehicles gained a new appreciation backed by a cult following.

This M3 is a well optioned example touting: Air conditioning, Electric operated windows, Electric Moonroof, Metallic Paint, Audio System, Cruise control, and the On-board computer system.

This vehicle was previously offered for sale during 2016 by Enthusiast Auto Group in Ohio, the vehicle went through their rejuvenation program and subsequently received a 10 year major servicing. Approximately 2000 miles have been added to the vehicle since. This M3 is one that matches EAG's rigorous standards proving it to being one of the best examples available on the market today. All the functionalities of the vehicle are in working order to BMW Group Classic standards.

This M3 is complete with all original books and literature, tools, and keys. The E30 M3 is one of the most sought-after cars in BMWs racing heritage. It is ready for immediate enjoyment and collectability.
