--Blue-Black metallic, Black leather interior, Black carpeting, Rare 1 of just 26 produced, 6.0 Liter V8 with 385 bhp, Previous collector ownership, Recent servicing.

Based on the W126 chassis 560 SEC flagship coupe, the AMG 6.0 Widebody raises the bar even further. One of the most iconic Mercedes collaborations, AMG bored the 5.6 Liter V8 out to 6.0 Liters producing 385 bhp up from the standard 300. This gave the AMG a sub six second 0-60mph making it one of the fastest accelerating luxury cars of the era. Further upgrades to the AMG included the highly regarded “Wide Body” aero kit, stiffer suspension, larger Brembo disc brakes, fully heated and electric Recaro seats, AMG steering wheel and additional Walnut wood trimmings.

Produced in October 1989, this AMG was ordered new from the Mercedes dealer in Munich, Germany. After long-term ownership, the AMG was owned by several collectors and only recently imported to the United States-Autosport Designs, Inc.

In superb condition throughout, this AMG 6.0 has always received proper care and excellent enthusiast ownership. It has recently received a full service with all fluids and a power steering service. With just 26 produced, this 560 SEC Widebody is a rare opportunity to own one of the most sought after and coolest Mercedes Benz's. It is most certainly an investment opportunity due to its limited number produced and the fact that is it truly part of AMG-Mercedes history.

A recent road test (video link below) will attest to this 560 SEC driving extremely well and with and all systems working as they should and as originally intended by the factory when new. Ready for immediate use, the 560 SEC 6.0 AMG Widebody is most certainly the center of attention wherever it goes. It is complete with its original books, tools, first aid kit, spare wheel, jack and service records.
