This Mk 2 has since enjoyed one owner and many years of dedicated enthusiast ownership since being built by Beacham Cars, New Zealand and is well known to Autosport Designs, Inc.

Beacham Cars, New Zealand, have been well-known and respected through the year for their bespoke, modernization of both Jaguar as well as Aston Martin motorcars. Based on a U.S.-specification, left-hand-drive Mark II, the car was stripped to its bare essentials for restoration and modernization.

This Mk 2 was order with every conceivable option at the time and at a cost of over $180,000 not including the donor Mk 2. Specification include: Jaguar supercharged V-8, 5-speed Automatic transmission, Modern cooling with assorted duction, Stainless steel exhaust, Handling kit, Power rack-and-pinion steering performance exhaust, 4-wheel power disc brakes with ABS, Modern steering wheel and adjustable steering column, Driver dash pod, Center console, Dash facia, Shifter console, Six-way power seats with headrests, Rear picnic tables, Modern shoulder belts, Air conditioning, Electric power sunroof as well as a modern stereo-sound system for the era with CD changer.

Currently in well-serviced, superb condition throughout, this Beacham Mk 2 has been exercised regularly and in seasonal use, never in inclement weather. It is a wonderful combination of a bygone era with modern components. On a recent road test, this Beacham Mk 2 was found to be nothing less than extraordinary in every way having, classic lines with modern handling, performance, and reliability.
