In 1996, the 550 Maranello launched the return of Ferraris 2-seater, front-engine V12 model, the first since the 365GTB/4 Daytona left production in 1973. The V12 delivers exhilarating performance with 478 hp at 7,000 rpm and 419 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm resulting in 0-60mph in just 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 185mph, making the 550 one of the fastest cars in the world. The 550 was the last of all Ferrari production models to only be offered in a manual transmission, as F1 style paddle-shift gearboxes started to take over with later models. Just over 3,000 550 Maranello's were produced as the 550 would become a true icon of the prancing horse and highly desirable among collectors and drivers alike to this day.

This 550 Maranello has been collector owned since new. It's original owner was a Ferrari franchise-dealer owner where he used it as his personal car. It was later sold to a local Ferrari enthusiast and collector and now offered for sale by Autosport Designs. It has been well serviced and care for throughout.

This 550 is complete all books, tools, records and extra keys and remotes.
