Beautifully restored, Celebrated Ghia Design, Hand-Built by Karmann, the Ultimate Coachbuilt Beetle. Produced until 1974, the Karmann-Ghia remains one of Ghias most commercially successful designs a coachbuilt Beetle that is an indelible chapter of the Volkswagen legend.
This Karmann Ghia is a marvelous restoration, the level of which is rarely afforded a car of this price-point. Believed to be a California car for much of its early life, this Volkswagen was acquired in the mid-2000s by Hoosier Hot Rods of Syracuse, Indiana, a firm that has specialized in classic automobile restorations since 1994. Judged at the time to be a solid example, the car was treated to a no expense restoration in 2007. Upon completion, this Karmann-Ghia was exhibited at local car shows and stored among the owners distinguished assembly of vintage sports cars. Since restoration, the car has accrued less than 250 miles and it remains in beautiful condition.
