Originally supplied as a RHD example, this DB5 was converted to LHD in the 1990s by UK marquee specialists. During 2009-2011 this matcing numbers DB5 was treated to a total restoration was performed by marque specialists in France. Both photo documentation of the restoration and invoices are available, over €200,000 were spent to bring this DB5 to its current exceptional condition. The engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes, clutch, radiator, electrics all restored to the highest standards. Although the engine was totally rebuilt by Richard Williams in the mid 1990s, it was dismantled, checked and rebuilt and the cylinder heads were converted for unleaded fuel at this time. It was also converted to Vantage specifications (Cams and Weber carburetors) at this time.
The owner who had this DB5 restored chose not to install the bumpers, preferring the smoother look. The bumpers are included with the car and easily installed should the new owner prefer and require.
This DB5 is exceptional in all respects, Cosmetic, Interior, Mechanical, Brakes, Suspension and Chassis. All that is required at this time is a new home. There are no disappointments.
