1985 Ferrari

308 GTSi Qv

Rosso Corsa with Crème leather interior piped Red and Red carpeting, 5,000 MILES FROM NEW!, Factory deep front spoiler.

This 308 QV is a rare European version so it has the presence and performance as was originally intended by Ferrari and without the USA 5 mph bumpers and performance hindering USA emission controls.

This 308 was originally imported from Germany by Ron Spangler and his well-known Prancing Horse Farm for its first registered owner, A. Blankenbiller, Maryland. During the EPA/DOT importation process and as with all converted European cars, the odometer faceplate was removed and reprinted in MPH. The odometer is original and still in kilometers, thus the current odometer reading of 9,000 kms is actually 5,000 miles!, there is an EPA letter to confirm.

Mr. Blackenbiller kept the 308 in exceptional condition and used it for 6,500 km's until selling. At this time, it was traded to Auto Palace, Pittsburgh, PA and offered for resale. Purchased in 2005 by its present owner, it has been lovingly cared for and serviced properly since.

This 308 QV is original and exceptional in every way. It received a major service approximately 3,000 kms ago. This 308 is offered with its original tools and records. Like many of us who have had two seaters when starting a family, this 308 is for sale solely due to the fact the owner has been blessed recently with new baby girl and a college fund to create and like many of us before him, will now be looking for a four seater sports car to enjoy with the family.

Cosmetically and mechanically exceptional, this is an opportunity to purchase what is effectively almost a new 308 GTSi QV and who knows, maybe the next Ferrari to appreciate in value as those models have before it.
