This original USA specification Daytona was completed at the factory on August 27, 1971. It was delivered to factory distributor Bill Harrahs MCM, Modern Classic Motors in Reno, Nevada. It remained in Nevada in different ownership until 1991 when it was sold to a Southern California Ferrari collector. In 1995, this Daytona was treated to a major restoration. Completed in 1997 to a very high standard, the Daytona was exhibited at the 11th Annual Concorso Italiano in Carmel Valley, California, where it won a Gold Award. The following year, the Ferrari was again entered at Concorso Italiano where it received a coveted FCA Platinum Award. After the completion of the restoration, the Daytona was driven very little.

In 2002, the impeccable Daytona was purchased by its previous owner and housed in his collection for the past 11 years. In 2003, this Daytona won the Peoples Choice Award at the 8th Annual Amelia Island Concours dElegance. The car still shows well today, a testament to quality of the original restoration.

This Daytona has recently received an extensive and expensive major service by a well-known West Coast Ferrari specialist. It is offered with original tools, tool roll, knock off hammer, factory jack as well as complete owners manuals.

Exceptionally detailed and serviced properly, this Daytona is a welcomed candidate for continued concours as well as being prepped and ready for fast road touring.
