--Metallic Light Blue with Black two-up seating, 1,015cc Air cooled DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine, 5-Speed gearbox, 31,000 miles.
The KZ1000 was produced from 1977-1980, the Z1R model featured several upgrades including larger Carburetors and 4 into one exhaust system.
Factory options include quadruple Mikuni carburetors and a chrome-finished exhaust system. Equipped with an electric starter, 18″ cast-alloy wheels, Kayaba suspension components, triple cross-drilled disc brakes, and a fiberglass quarter fairing with a tinted windscreen as well as a two-up seat and both center and side stands. Steel 3.4-gallon fuel tank, front fender, tail section, and side covers. A black-finished double-cradle frame.
Black-finished 18″ seven-spoke cast alloy wheels with machined edges are mounted with Michelin Road Classic tires. Kayaba suspension components consist of a 36mm conventional telescopic fork and a pair of preload-adjustable shocks mounted to the swingarm, which pivots on needle bearings. Braking is handled by a pair of 296mm drilled discs up front and a single 290mm drilled disc at the rear.
The chrome-finished handlebar carries a pair of round mirrors and fronts a dash panel housing a 160-mph Nippon Denso speedometer and a matching tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as a fuel-level gauge, an ammeter, and a vertical bank of indicator lights.
Recently serviced and new battery installed.
