1960 Aston Martin

DB4 series Ii Coupe

Sage Green with Tan leather interior piped Green and Green Wilton Wool carpeting, Fully Restored by Autosport Designs, Inc., 4-speed manual, Chrome wire wheels.

The Series 1-2 examples are considered by many to be the most beautiful of the DB4 range due to its Egg Crate Front Grille, Larger Front Bonnet Scoop and Straight Rear Cathedral Tail-lights all part of the original Touring of Milan design.

This DB4 Coupe was imported from France in 2010 where it was enjoyed from new and had two prior owners from new, only compiling 46,000 miles from new.

Upon importation, it was sold to a good client and friend of Autosport Designs, Inc. who decided given this DB4s exceptional, honest, straight original condition to undertake a full restoration. The DB4 was stripped and everything was gone through to make as new or better. It was decided to build the engine to 4.2 liter (from its original 3.7 liter) with the use of fast road camshafts while leaving the original two carb set up for more torque. The entire chassis, braking system and suspension have been completely renewed. The suspension having been uprated with a Harvey Bailey Handling Package, Koni dampers and Koni telescopic rear shock update kit.

Upon completion the DB4 was used on the 2011 Colorado Grand where it performed in excellent and true form befitting an Aston and without fault. If I remember correctly, and I believe I do since I was driving the DB4 with its owner, the DB4 surprised many a modern Mercedes SLS driven by the sponsors having not believed the DB4 could keep up :) You know who you are!

Complete with books, tools and records, this DB4 is exceptional in every respect.
