1964 Aston Martin

DB5 Coupe

Green metallic with leather interior and Grey carpeting, 5-speed ZF manual gearbox, RHD, Matching numbers.

DB5/1488/R was delivered March 26, 1964 to Mrs. R. Lea, Pembrokeshire, UK. Options included a 3.77:1 rear axle for continental touring, a speedometer registering in kilometers even though it was ordered for the UK market, chrome wheels, Dunlop RS5 tires, Instrumentation in kilometers, Bray immersion heater, Heated rear screen and Power operated aerial.

Originally born Dubonett Rosso, this DB5 was repainted in its current shade of Green metallic in the recent past. Much of this DB5s history remains unknown, I am still in the process of researching.

What is known is that this DB5 has been sitting for some time in the UK prior to its recent importation to the USA. A recent compression test shows the engine to have good compression. The remainder of this DB5 is best described as a running and driving DB5 that is complete, but in need of restoration to bring back to its former glory.

Price fairly in todays market, this DB5 is seeking a new owner who will restore her to her former glory and reap the rewards of a continually rising Aston DB5 market.
