The Ferrari Testarossa leaped to center stage of the automotive world in 1984. Through 11 years of production it was the definition of a supercar in its era. The standard TR evolved into the 512TR of 1991 and with subtle but effective changes to the body, drive train and interior, the best became even better. In 1995, the F512M completed the series with further tweaks, allowing the model which entered service as the premier 2-seat sports touring car to exit with grace, still atop the lists.
The F512M was a modified version of the popular Testarossa. It offered a unique body/chassis featuring a F-40 front hood design and a new rear tail light design. F512M stood for Ferrari five liter twelve cylinder modified. The Testarossa series could be used as a weekend escape vehicle, holiday transportation or a daily driver. Not to be forgotten, with 432hp compared to the 390hp of the original the car, the F512M could reach speeds at over195mph. The F512M was the final design of a Era that captured a nation. The last production of any Ferrari series will always be the most desirable, most powerful and most collectible.
