Countach 5000 QuatTRovalvole Downdraft

Anthracite Grey Metallic with Black leather interior and Black carpeting, 23,000 original miles, Documented History.

Widely regarded as the most outrageous car ever built, the Countach represented the promise automotive design throughout the 70s and 80s. While there have been faster cars built, no car before or since has the presence of a Countach.

Over the years, the Countach evolved, gaining in strength and power as there were successive increases in the displacement. It this variant, the 5000 QV is a 5.2 liter with four valves per cylinder, Weber downdraught carburetors and a power output of 455 bhp.

This 5000 QV is an exceptionally low mileage example that has been collector owned and serviced properly. Owned since 1990 by French personality Pierre Bignole, this Countach QV lived on the island of Corsica where Mr. Bignole lives. This Countach has been seen limited used on the beautiful winding roads of Corsica over the past 20 years.

Imported to the USA by Autosport Designs, Inc. within the last two years, this Countach was sold to a NY collector/collection. It was recently treated to a $35,000 mechanical and cosmetic service to sympathetically restored/detail those items that never wore well. It is currently is exceptional condition and ready for immediate use.

This is a rare opportunity to own a Lamborghini 5000 Quattrovalvole with excellent provenance, in superb condition as well as being a model that was never imported to the USA in European specifications, the way they were meant to be!
