The MGA was in a completely different league to its predecessors. This MGA was acquired in 2009 after sitting for more than 20 years by its most recent owner. It then embarked on a complete and thorough restoration with no stone unturned. The addition of a period supercharger was added to bring a reliable rise in both horsepower and torque figures. A 3.9:1 differential from a 1964 MGB handles power distribution. The braking comes from the MGAs original front disc brakes and the addition of larger MGB rear drum brakes. The restoration is quite superb in every respect.
