This Eleventh generation Thunderbird was produced for only three years, 2002-2005. After being on hiatus for several years, Ford introduced a new Thunderbird for 2002. Returning to the original formula for the Thunderbird, the latest version had a two-seat coupe/convertible layout like the first-generation Thunderbird and retrofuturistic styling to match. The eleventh generation Thunderbird shared the same platform as the Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type.
The 2002 Thunderbird is powered by Ford/Jaguar designed AJ-26 4.0 liter V8 producing 252 horsepower with 267 lb/ft of torque. The engine was mated to Ford's 5-speed automatic transmission.
Only produced for three years, this 11th generation Thunderbird has been collector owned from new and remains is almost as new condition throughout with extremely limited mileage from new.
