512 Bb Berlinetta Boxer

Black with Black Boxer trim with Tan leather seats with Black inserts and Black carpeting, 5,700 miles fom new, 5- speed, Factory a/c and power windows.

This 1981 Ferrari 512 BB is one of the last carbureted models built. It was imported to the United States in August 1982 for Mr. D. Mundy of Warren, New Jersey by Ferrari franchise dealer Alberto Pedrettis Wide World of Cars. In 1988, it was sold to Dr. M. Brooks of Smithtown, NY who was actively showing his concours quality Maserati Bora at the time and after a long search, chose this 512 BB to share garage space with the Maserati. All servicing while in both Mr. Mundys and Dr. Brooks ownership was cared for by Wide World of Cars.

All ownership and service history is documented. This Boxer has been in its previous ownership since the late 1990s. It has been used sparingly to say the least. Today, this Boxer is available for sale in as is condition (price to be decided), but in need of a major service due to sincere lack of use during the recent years or with our advertised price ($395,000) which will include a complete and thorough engine out service, everything and anything to ensure this low mileage Boxer has a exceptional and fresh start with its next new owner.

This Boxer is complete with all the original books, complete original tool kit in its original box as well as the jack and accessories in their original sleeve.

The power output is approximately 485 hp from its 4,942 cc, horizontally opposed V-12 engine with four three-barrel Weber 40IF3C downdraught carburetors which was rebuilt in the mid-1980s by Alberto Pedretti and updated with LM specification pistons and camshafts. Power is driven through a five-speed manual transmission and braking from four-wheel disc brakes.

This 512 BB is exceptional in every way and runs strong, tight and as close to new as a Boxer can get.
