Baikal Blue with White interior and Grey German square weave carpeting, 4-speed, Fully restored from a 30,000 miles original example.
This magnificent example owned from 1997 to 2013 by a Texas based collector. The car was repainted in its original and stunning Baikal Blue to show standards. The interior has its original seats, leather, dash, headliner, seat rails, gauges, all are in magnificent condition. The carpet and door panels are as new!
The original motor was replaced with a 3.5L motor which was fully detailed and from the exterior looks 100% stock and original. The suspension has been upgraded for better performance and handling. Car runs and drives perfectly.
Original options are factory air, electric windows and factory sunroof. A well hidden $8,000.00 plus stereo has also been installed. The extremely rare Alpina road wheels and steering wheel were over $5,000.00 and remain as new.
Only 2000 miles have been driven since restoration, over $61,000.00 in receipts. The chassis, engine and body have been detailed exceptionally.
More recently this 3.0 CS was purchased in 2013 by a well-known NY based collector who has since used the car sparingly due to the amount of automobiles in his collection, but has regardless of use, maintained and serviced the BMW throughout to be ready for use at a moments notice.
Very rare to find and most beautiful to look at, the 3.0 CS cannot be duplicated for its asking price.
