This X-Pack V8 Vantage is one of just 137 total manufactured, 94 right hand drive and 43 left hand drive specification. The LHD examples are extremely rare having only made up only 1/3 of production.
The most powerful of the production Vantages, the X-Pack produced 410bhp from its 5.3 liter engine using high compression pistons, larger valves that the standard V8, larger inlet manifold and X-Pack Zagato specification camshafts breathing through 48mm Weber carburetors. The interior now updated from the Series II V8 Vantage included a new steering column and housing, various revised switchgear and tilt adjustment for the steering wheel.
Delivered new to Germany, this V8 Vantage enjoyed long term ownership where it was used and enjoyed sparingly, but service regardless of use. It was subsequently it its first ownership from its original delivery until 2013 when sold to its second owner. Imported to the United States, it has recently been fully serviced throughout to make ready for its next new owner and immediate use.
