512 Bbi Berlinetta Boxer

Prugna metallic with Black Boxer trim, Beige leather seats with Black inserts, Tan carpeting, 2-Owners from new, 5,000 miles from new!

This Boxer is in superb, well cared for condition from new. It has always been serviced when and where needed and has enjoyed only two Mid-Western collector owners from new.

Imported to the USA in 1982 by Marque Motors of Bloomington, MN. It was subsequently federalized for the USA and sold to its first registered owner, Mr. Paul Kramer of East Troy, WI. Mr. Kramer kept the Boxer until 1989 when it was traded to Motorcars International, Chicago, IL. In 1990, this 512 BBi was acquired by Mr. Carl Haas for his personal collection. Mr. Haas is well known from Indy Car Racing fame as well as his relationship and partnership with the late Paul Newman and Newman-Haas Racing. The Boxer has remained in the collection of Mr. Haas until its recent purchase by Autosport Designs, Inc.

As stated above, this Boxer has always been serviced and maintained regardless of use to keep in top condition throughout. It is complete with service records for all maintenance from Lake Forest Sportscars (Ferrari authorized agent) as well as internal records when the Boxer was maintained by the Team Haas Indy Racing mechanics.

Currently we are performing an engine out service to ensure this Boxer will start its next ownership in top form. Cosmetically, this Boxer is superb. We are in the process of refinishing/returning the front and rear fiberglass bumpers back to fully European specifications. The bumper extensions for USA regulations will be removed as will the side market lights, the front and rear bumpers will then show as per original factory specification, as original delivered from new and prior to USA federalization requirement of the time.

This is an opportunity to purchase a low mileage, collector owned 512 Berlinetta Boxer, one of the first injected models produced with excellent collector provenance, excellent condition and complete with all of its original books, tools, spare and maintenance history.
