The matching number E-type Series 1.5 Roadster is thought to be an original 27,000 miles example. Early history is unknown, but the chassis, body and original interior acknowledge this belief. It is one of the nicest, tightest, straightest and most honest E-types we have seen in some time. Purchased in 2006 in mechanically restored form by its previous owner-collector and well known client to Autosport Designs, Inc., it has been well-cared for and sympathetically restored since with care to not diminish much of its original condition, such as its original and superb interior and original chrome which cannot be replicated.

During the previous ownership it has been serviced annually and has received the following service, maintenance and upgrades to keep in superb, ready to use condition. New top, Complete cooling system refurbishment including new water pump, thermostat and upgraded aluminum radiator for better cooling, Complete suspension overhaul, All hubs have been replaced, Fuel tank has been removed, serviced, coated and reinstalled, New Clutch, New stainless steel exhaust system, Complete engine reseal, performance oil pump and recently full service with valve adjustment, Carburetors have been rebuilt and finally a complete repaint in its original color Carmen Red.
