The Zagato Coupe was manufactured on the Giulia platform-chassis that was shortened by 10cm. It featured a Zagato body, which, in addition to offering a beautiful shape, also made the car lighter. It is considered by Ercole Spada, Zagatos chief designer to be one of his best designs. It was acquired from The Netherlands by Mr. V. Cerami a New York resident in 2012. At the time original engine was not working and was replaced with a 1750cc motor, the original matching numbers 1300cc motor is included with the car.

Mr. Cerami has the Alfa completely repainted and trimmed, sorted the Zag and used it for a short time before selling it to its last custodian, a well-known Arizona collector/collection.
