This 246 GTS was an original delivery USA model delivered new by William F. Harrahs MMC Modern Classic Motors in Reno, Nevada, Ferraris West Coast distributor at the time. Since new, this 246 GTS has enjoyed enthusiast/collector ownership in both the Northwestern and Southwestern United States. It was restored in 2000-2001 by Ron Tonkin Ferrari and later found its way into the Orin Smith collection.
Most recently this Chair and Flares Dino has been in the ownership of a New York Ferrari enthusiast. In early 2017 this Dino received a major service by well-known and respected Ferrari specialist Greg Jones to include, everything and anything needed to make sure the Dino is ready for immediate use or concours showing.
As evidenced by its superb condition throughout, it has been properly restored and maintained throughout its lifetime and to date. Everything is working properly and correctly and as one would expect from a Dino in this condition and with this provenance. Over the year, we have had the pleasure of owning many standard as well as Chair and Flares Dinos, this is without a doubt one of the best.
Superb in absolutely every way and complete with books, leather pouch, tools and factory jack.
