Less than 4000 of these cabriolets were produced. These largely hand-built Mercedes four passenger convertibles were known for their smooth performance and their ability to sit four adult passengers in comfort and safety. They were produced for only two years (1994-1995) and are highly sought after by collectors. These Cabriolets were expensive when introduced, selling for upwards of $80,000. Floors, transmission tunnels, windshield frames, door frames, even the convertible top storage compartments were engineered to provide extra body rigidity lost by typical convertibles.
This 1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet has benefited from proper maintenance and care. The third and previous owner had the car for over 13 years and it was only serviced at Mercedes franchised dealers. Oil, transmission fluid and brakes were recently serviced. The power steering unit was rebuilt last year and the head gasket has been replaced in the recent past. This E320 Cab. is in excellent condition and shows very minor wear. Paint is superb. All rubber, chrome and convertible top is in excellent condition. Headliner and leather interior are also in excellent condition.
This E320 Cabriolet comes with its original manuals and has a clean Carfax. This last of the hand-built Mercedes is ready well-service and in super, mechanical, cosmetic and structural condition awaiting four seater open top touring.
