2005 Mercedes Benz

SL 65 Amg

Silver Arrow Metallic with Black leather and Black carpeting, 3-owners, 19,000 miles, 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 with 604hp and an Automatic Transmission with AMG Speedshift, SL65 Anniversary Edition with designo upholstery.

The fifth generation Mercedes SL class was produced in the mid-2000s. This new SL was the first of the SLs historic roadster lineage to feature a retractable hardtop. After a few years on the market, Mercedes produced the SL65 AMG in limited numbers. Tuned by the skunkworks in Affalterbach, the bi-turbo V12 produced 604bhp with 738 lb-ft of torque. This was more torque than the Ferrari Enzo and the Porsche Carrera GT. Sporting all the luxury features of Mercedes top line roadster, the SL 65 adds all the special AMG performance and styling cues that set this apart from your standard SL. There is also a rich, deep-throated free-flowing exhaust that actually sounds like a turbocharged V12.

This SL 65 AMG comes fully loaded with standard and optional extras. It is the SL 65 Anniversary edition with two-tone black on black upholstery, designo carbon fiber trim, Anniversary floormats, and Silver Arrow paint. This SL 65 has a Bose sound system, Navigation, Keyless Go, Xenon headlamps, 12-way adjustable heated/ventilated multi-contour seats, AMG split-spoke wheels, Parktronic, Distronic, Limited Slip Differential, and TPMS. The original msrp hovered around $200K in 2005.

This 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG is in excellent condition with just 19,000 miles from new. The SL 65 feels like a true grand tourer on the road, though the immense power and factory-equipped Limited-Slip Differential can provide a more sporting driving experience in the right hands.
