1965 Porsche

356SC Coupe

Black with Black leather interior, Grey German Square Weave carpeting, Certificate of Authenticity, PCA Manhattan Trophy concours winner, 4-speed manual transmission.

The 356 is widely regarded as one of the most enduring postwar sporting models and the late SC models featured then modern era mechanical improvements, including a 95 horsepower 1600cc engine, dual Solex carburetors, and disc brakes. Many styling and mechanical cues were carried over to the soon to arrive 911 model, leaving the 356 C and SC models affectionately known as genesis cars.

This late production Karmann 356 SC Coupe was delivered February 15, 1965 and enjoyed longtime Southern California ownership. In 1988 this 356 SC won Manhattan Tropy PCAs top honor, awarded to the best car in the concours field during that years Porsche Parade. It has always been serviced and has received restorations by Porsche marque specialist including Scotts Independent Inc. as well as Wilhoit Auto Restoration in Long Beach, Ca.

As a result of careful ownership and fanatical attention to detail, this 356 presents and drives to a superb standard today and will be sold with accompanying books, manuals, original restored jack and spare, as well as an exhaustive binder of receipts and records of ownership.

Absolutely superb throughout, this 356 is ready for immediate road or concours use.
