Moorland Green with Parchment Leather interior, Tan carpeting and Tan Everflex convertible top,6.75 liter V8 engine, Automatic transmission, 36,000 miles from new, 1 of only 77 produced for the United States.

Rolls-Royce's strategy for the re-launch of the Bentley marque in the 1980s was a top priority, and to rekindle interest a name from their illustrious past was resurrected - 'Continental' - and applied to the two-door model known to its Rolls-Royce equivalent, Corniche. The Bentley's 1984 name change had the desired effect of sales, which in the 13 years amounted to just 77 Bentley-badged cars; a total of 421 for the succeeding 11 years of Continental production.

The Bentley was delivered completed on 25 June 1987 and delivered to New York City under Private ownership until 1992, where the car had accumulated a mere 5,200 miles. Used locally in Westchester County, New York for approximately the next five years the car was relocated Phoenix, Arizona. While in Arizona, it was serviced by Max of Switzerland. From 2002 to the end of 2012 the Bentley resided in Atlanta, Georgia where it continued to be cared for by local Rolls, Bentley and European car specialists. In 2013, this Continental was purchased by Bentley collector and relocated Monaco. In this ownership €15,000.00 was spent in servicing with the Bentley franchised dealer in Monaco. In 2014, it was purchased by another well-known East Coast U.S. collector and was thus re-imported to the USA. During its most recent ownership, it has received another $12,500.00 to including thorough mechanical maintenance and cosmetic detailing, bringing the drophead to top condition standard. Detailed receipts-document the servicing carried out accompany the car.

This Continental is excellent in all aspects and remains a rare example of a modern-era, hand-built, 4 seat convertible.
