250 GT Berlinetta Lusso

--Blue Pozzi with Beige leather interior, Beige carpeting, Rare 1 of 350 produced, Restored, 3.0 Liter Colombo V12 engine, 1,500 miles on freshly rebuilt engine by Ferrari of Houston, 4-speed manual gearbox, Borrani wheels, Previous long-term ownership.

Originally completed on January 22, 1964 as the 205th of 350 produced cars, this Lusso was delivered new to Portuguese importer, Joao Gaspar. The Lusso was sold to Henri Chambon of Vence, France in the 1980s and subsequently restored in 1990 by Carrosserie Lecog in Saint-Ouen, France. During the restoration, the Lusso was painted the Ferrari color of Pozzi Blue.

Due to an accident in 1998, this Lusso was then rebodied by Autorestauro Giovanni Giordanengo & Figlio S.n.c., of Boves, Italy. It was then sold to a collector in England and remained there until 2006. It was then sold to a California dealer, imported to the United States and offered for resale. Subsequently, it was purchased in 2007 by a Texas collector and has remained in its current ownership to date.

During previous ownership, this Lusso had a complete snd photo documented engine rebuild in 2014 costing $79,000 completed by Ferrari of Houston. This Lusso is an exciting opportunity for a collector seeking a rare Lusso, one of only 350 produced. While an older restoration, this Lusso has always been well serviced and maintained, when and where needed and drives well. It is ready for immediate use and enjoyment.
