The fifth generation Mercedes SL class was produced in the mid-2000s and this new SL was the first of the SLs historic roadster lineage to feature a retractable hardtop. Tuned by the skunkworks in Affalterbach, the Supercharged V-8 produces 493bhp with 516 lb-ft of torque. Sporting all the luxury features of Mercedes top line roadster, the SL 55 adds all the special AMG performance and styling cues that set this apart from your standard SL. There is also a rich, deep-throated free-flowing exhaust that actually sounds like a supercharged V-8 and 8-piston AMG brake calipers to round out performance.
Interior appointments and options include, 12-way adjustable AMG Sport seats, 8-speaker Bose stereo system, Navigation, Panorama Roof and Bi-Xenon headlamps.
