DB4 Series IV Coupe

Navy Blue with Tan leather interior and Tan carpeting, 55,000 miles from new, Restored, Left hand drive, 4-speed David Brown gearbox, Chrome wire wheels.

This Series 4 DB4 was originally ordered for the United States market and delivered to its first registered owner, Mr. K. Venturi of Hillsborough, California. Mr. Venturi was an American professional golfer who has been inducted to the World Golf Hall of Fame. Much of its early history is unknown. It is in the AMOC Registry as having been in the USA until 1992 when it was sold and exported to Germany. While in Germany it was treated to a sympathetic cosmetic restoration as well as a mechanical overhaul. It was then enjoyed for several years in its German ownership prior to being sold to a Japanese collector in 1996.

During its Japanese ownership, this DB4 had taken part in several events with the Japanese region of the Aston Martin Owners Club as well as taking part in the Rally Nippon in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. It is well-known for performing flawlessly in these events alongside a rare DB4 Series V Vantage Coupe. The Series V Vantage was sold to its Japanese owner by Autosport Designs. Both of these DB4s had been very well known in Japan due to their excellent condition by all who have known them. Both have been serviced by well-known Japanese Aston Martin restoration experts to ensure they remained in absolutely exceptional condition throughout.

Imported to the United States in 2013, it was sold to its most recent client and friend of Autosport Designs. It was used for a season without issue. In 2014-2015, this DB4 had the following work completed at a cost of approximately $80,000.00. Complete chassis service and detailing, Complete suspension refurbishment, Suspension upgraded with Harvey Bailey handling package, Conversion to telescopic rear shock absorbers, Full service tuning, Carburetor rebuild, Ignition service, Exhaust replacement, Complete brake service throughout, Differential service and finally a Gearbox rebuild and Clutch replacement.

Within the past year, this DB4 has had another $130,000.00 plus spent on its cosmetics. It has been the subject of a complete bare metal repaint, complete interior, carpeting, headliner, dash as well and the rechroming of the bumpers and refinishing of all exterior brightwork.

Fresh from its recent cosmetic restoration, this DB4 is superb mechanically and structurally and ready for immediate use. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a late Series IV that is numbers matching and original factory LHD DB4. It is ready for immediate use on the road or for concours showing.
