2014 Piaggio

Vespa 946 BelliSSima Limited Edition

The second 2014 version of the 946 is known as the Bellissima. This Limited Edition model arrived in a single batch of 100 units in either blue or silver metallic paintwork, allocated to North America.

Vespa pulled out all the stops when it came to the 946, putting style and technology to the forefront of this model. The monocoque chassis is a hallmark of the Vespa, and is labor-intensive to build, with 320 welds. The bodywork evokes the original DAscancio-designed 1946 MP6 prototype (hence the ‘946 designation), if not the originals size and simplicity. There are several aluminum body panels, but the scooters main structure is made of steel, just like the first prototypes.

A new-generation, clean-burning, and fuel-efficient, port-injected, three-valve, SOHC 155cc 4-stroke single engine powers the 946, and Vespa claims up to 117 mpg, good for a top speed of 57 mph. Additionally, the 946 is equipped with ASR electronic traction control the first on a Vespa. Other high-tech touches include LED lighting and indicators, an LCD multifunction display, two-channel ABS brakes and hand stitched leather seat and hand grips.

This Vespa 946 presents as-new, with just 35 single-owner miles and is accompanied by its original book, manuals, tools, optional 2-up seat and 2 keys it is ready for immediate riding enjoyment.
