This 289 Mustang Fastback has been superbly cared for since new. It is entirely original and condition is pristine throughout. This Fastback was built at the plant in Dearborn, MI and was sold new at Byerly Motors in Louisville, KY on February 10, 1965 to Mr. Henry Zimmerman A Ford executive for $3,082.55. Mr. Zimmerman later sold it to another Ford executive, Mr. Paul Lorenz.
This Mustang is offered with its owners manual, original window sticker, bill of sale, original finance loan document for Mr. Zimmerman, and all original brochure and marketing materials for 1965 Mustangs, including an original April 1965 Road & Track issue showcasing Fastback competitors for 1965. This Mustang has been collector owned for some time. It is certainly one of the best original examples available worldwide.
