This DB6 Vantage is 1 of 153 original LHD Vantage specification DB6 Vantages produced by the factory. Delivered new in France, this matching numbers DB6 Vantage was first delivered through French Aston Martin agent Garage Mirabeau to the wife of well-known French singer Richard Anthony. Apparently she was driving a Ferrari 250 Lusso, but the Aston was new machinery and en vogue in comparson. It was kept in their ownership and registered in Paris until 1971 when it was sold to Mr. Franck Fernandel, also a Paris resident. Only two weeks after its purchase by Mr. Fernandel, it was once again sold to Mr. Daniel Leroy another Paris resident. Later in 1971, it was once again sold to another Parisan Mr. Jean Michel.

In 1974, the DB6 moved South to Montpellier and new ownership. In the 1980s the DB6 moved North once again to Mulhouse having been purchased by a Mr. Marx. In the early 1990s, the DB6 was fully restored, both cosmetically and mechanically with photographic documentation by the Ferrari garage in Mulhouse.

In 1997, the DB6 was sold to a certain Mr. Leca, living in Toulouse. In 1999 it was once again sold to its most recent owner who kept the DB6 in a large private collection in Western France from 1999 until 2014 and its purchase by Autosport Designs, Inc. During this ownership, the DB6 has been maintained when and where needed. The total mileage accumulated to date is 70,000 kilometers.

Since its purchase in 2014, this DB6 Vantage has been the recipient of a three year concours level 'body off' restoration by UK Aston Martin marque specialist specialist Desmond Smail. The DB6 Vantage has been restored to original specification with the benefit of its matching numbers engine rebuilt to 4.2L unleaded specification, the addition of a Harvey Bailey handling kit as well as bespoke option such as modern and effective air conditioning, as well as much, much more. It is absolutely superb in every way!
