Early history is largely unknown until the later 1990s. At this time it was in the ownership of well-known Swiss Aston Martin collector, Mr. A. Knapp-Voith. It was at the time restored by well-known UK specialists Aston Martin Engineering.
In October of 2000, this DB6 was purchased from Mr. A. Knapp-Voith, brokered by German dealer Michael Brinkert by Autosport Designs. It was shipped via air freight to the New York and offered for resale. In January 2001, it was sold to its most recent Southern ownership. It has remained in this previous ownership for the past 18 years, accumulating only 3,220 miles since restoration. During its previous ownership it was serviced regardless of use by Autosport Designs as well as several others Southern sports car facilities to ensure the DB6 was kept is superb order and ready for immediate use.
Complete with owners handbook and large service history file, this DB6 is in excellent condition throughout, a testament to its Aston Engineering restoration and is ready for its next new home-ownership.
