This 246 GTS was originally manufactured on May 24th, 1974 and delivered new to a Ferrari franchise dealer in Surrey, England, even being a US car. It was subsequently sold from England to the US to Chinetti-Garthwaite Imports. The Dino was then later registered to Mr. Donald Leas II. After long-term ownership, the Dino traded hands to its next long-term custodian in 2004. In its most recent ownership by a very well-known Ferrari collector here on the Northeast, it was immediate stripped to bare metal for a photo documented restoration and returned to its original color of Blue Dino Metallizzato paint. During this restoration, it was noted this Dino contained no rust or any signs of damage to the body. Along with the full servicing, a new dash was fitted as were new tires. The service included replacing all fuel hoses, vent hoses and water hoses where needed, a modern 1 wire high output alternator was also supplied and installed, the oil and filter, fuel filter have recently been replaced, new belts and the fuel and ignition systems were gone through to make sure it is in optimum running condition. On a recent road test, we can attest to its running condition being as good as its cosmetic condition.

Offered in exceptional, well restored condition, this 246 GTS Dino is ready for immediate road use and enjoyment or equally at home on the show/concours circuit. This Dino is superb in every way, inspections are welcomed.
