1967 marked the last year and final version of the big Healey, the 3000 Mark III, series BJ8. The 3-litre, 6-cylinder, twin SU carburetors engine produced 150bhp, which was the most of any model in the Austin Healey lineup. The Phase II Healey 3000 improvements included a revised exhaust system, a revised rear suspension to increase ride height for improved ground clearance, and a vacuum brake booster as standard. The 3000 Mark III series BJ8 was the only model in the range of Austin Healeys that featured a lavish cockpit including a dashboard of burled walnut veneer, a center console with the curved windscreen, wing windows and roll-up side windows which were introduced just before on the series BJ7 model. It is clearly the most comfortable and most luxurious of all Austin Healeys.

This 1967 Austin Healey 3000 MK III BJ8 has been collector owned and cared for. Since restoration, this Healey has enjoyed only limited use. It has been cared for and serviced regardless of use by its previous South Carolina owner.

This Healey 3000 in its superb Healey Blue color is completely dialed in and drives as a properly restored and well cared for should. One of the best all around town or touring British sports cars, it is ready for its next new owner and immediate use or show.
