The 356 is widely regarded as one of the most enduring postwar sporting models. Late model upgrades such as Disc Brakes and a 75 horsepower 1600cc engine with dual Solex carburetors, made the C iteration the ultimate modern 356 model. Many styling and mechanical cues were carried over to the soon to arrive 911 model, leaving the 356 C models affectionately known as genesis cars.

This 356 was ordered with the following options when delivered new: Leather headrests, Chrome steel wheels, Aluminum side spear trim and Red Coco floormats.

Having been in long term Northwestern enthusiast collector ownership, this 356 has been serviced and cared for at all times. Most recently it has received approximately $10,000 servicing by Porsche marque specialists. Servicing has included brake and fuel system servicing, the addition of an electric fuel pump as well as the rebuilt of its already updated-uprated Weber carburetors.
