1965 Aston Martin

DB6

--Fiesta Red with Blue leather interior with Blue carpeting, Original LHD, 3,995 DOHC Inline 6-Cylinder with Triple S.U. Carburetors producing 282bhp at 5,500rpm, Numbers matching, Factory 3-speed automatic transmission.

Very little is known with regard to this DB6's early history other than it was ordered new as a LHD example for the American market with luxurious and fast touring in mind. Options included: Borg Warner 3-speed automatic transmission, Power steering, Electric windows, Headrests, Air conditioning and chrome wire wheels.

An excellent structural and mechanical example throughout, this DB6 has received sympathetic restoration in the past. It present well overall with only minor imperfections, but otherwise excellent and extremely pleasing to the eye. The interior is excellent representing itself with what is an incredibly honest patina reminiscent of a well cared for leather jacket. The carpeting is excellent and again has the feel and smell that can only come from its original leather.

Having been housed in a prominent Aston Martin collection for the past 15 years, it has recently received a $10,000 service to bring to its current running and driving condition.

As can be seen when viewing our road test video, the DB6 is an excellent driver with excellent power from its matching number engine showing perfect oil pressure, water and oil temperatures. Although in need of a bit more servicing needed to bring to the next level, this DB6 will be a worthy recipient and honor its next custodian with years of pleasure.

The DB6 was very well received, with 1462 "Mk1" examples finding buyers from 1965-1969.

Inspections and a road test are welcomed.
