1972 Ferrari

365 GTB/4 Daytona Coupe

Rosso Chiaro Corsa with Black leather interior and Red carpets, 38,000 miles from new, Restored, Factory Air Conditioning and Power Windows, Becker Radio, Chromodora wheels, Matching numbers, Original Color Combination from New, Documented by Massini.

This original USA specification Daytona was completed at the factory on July 17, 1972. It was delivered to its first new owner through Luigi Chinetti Motors, Greenwich, Connecticut.

In various long term collector ownerships since new, this Daytona had only accumulated 32,000 miles by 1998 and when in the ownership of well-known New York collector, Mr. R. Sirota. At this time, it was traded to Alberto Pedrettis Ferrari franchised dealer, Wide World of Cars. It was sold almost immediately to it most recent and past owner another collector here in New York.

Since its purchase in 1998, it has accumulated a mere 6,000 miles and remains in excellent condition throughout. Over the years, it has taken part in various Ferrari Club Concours events taking Platinum. This Daytona is outstanding in every way, the biggest pick is its original steering wheel, a particular annoyance to every concours judge who has inspected this Daytona, but a particular love of its most recent owner (to each their own) and thus never having been redone to date. That said, it is easily restored or replaced with a new original equipment steering wheel if requested by its next owner.

It is offered with original tools, tool roll, knock off hammer, factory jack as well as complete owners manuals.

This Daytona is a welcomed candidate for continued concours or immediate road use.
