1969 Alfa Romeo

GTV 1750

--Fly Yellow, Black leather interior, Black carpeting, 1750cc inline 4-cylinder engine, 5-speed manual gearbox, Restored, Long-term collector ownership, well-known to Autosport Designs.

Designed by the young Giorgetto Giugiaro for Bertone, the GTV was an instant classic from its introduction as the Giulia Sprint GT in 1963. The biggest revision came in 1969, with the elimination of the early "stepped" hood. It was then that the Giulia coupe became known as the GTV.

This Alfa Romeo GTV was originally registered in France. While early history is unknown, it was restored by Automotive Restorations in Connecticut in the mid-2000s and has seen exceptional collector care and ownership since. Painted in Fly Yellow during its restoration, the interior was kept in its original Black. Upgrades included a GTA steering wheel, 14-inch GTA wheels, bumper delete, GTA ram pipes, new exhaust system and more.

This restored GTV is clean with excellent body fitment and no signs of any damage or major repairs. A truly iconic sports coupe, this Alfa is comfortable, yet dialed in for around-town cruising. The Alfa GTV's are well balanced cars with slick gearboxes and nimble/predictable handling. With its restoration, upgrades and continued servicing, this GTV has great power, sound, handling and of course, Italian passion.

A wonderful vintage sports car in every respect, it is extremely hard to find this desirable model in this condition. A recent road test attests to the car performing flawlessly in every way and it is ready for immediate use and enjoyment.
