365 GTC

This 365 GTC is one of only two 365 GTC's originally painted from the factory in Oro Nasrullah (Gold metallic) over Nero (Black) and the only LHD example, the other 365 GTC being RHD. This European specification GTC was delivered new to official dealer Motor S.a.s., Rome, Italy. August, 1969 it was sold by Motor S.a.s. to its first private owner Pierluigi Guidotti, also a resident of Rome. This 365 GTC had several subsequent Italian ownership, in and around Rome, each having used it sparingly.

1982 saw this 365 GTC in the ownership of Mrs. Lucia Betucchi, Alessandria, Italy and where it was shown at the Ferrari Club Valenza meeting in Alssandria, Italy. September, 1983 it was seen being driven by Lorenzo Beltrami during the Ferrari Days at Modena and Imola, at this time painted Blue metallic. It stayed in Italy through circa 1988-90 when it was exported to Austria and found in the ownership Dr. Franz Mayr-Melnhof-Saurau, a resident of Graz, Austria. At this time it was Red with Black interior and described as 100% perfect body and mechanical restoration completed 1990. At this time, the 365 GTC was sold by Mayr-Melnhof-Saurau and exported to the United States having been purchased by Symbolic Motor Car Company of La Jolla, California.

Since its import to the United States and California residency, it was sold by Symbolic to Southern California ownership where it was enjoyed and serviced and maintained by Symbolic. In 1996, the GTC moved to Northern California and found itself in the ownership of Bruce Trenery, Fantasy Junction, Emeryville, California and kept for his personal use. In 2006, it was sold by Trenery, fantasy junction to James Herlinger, Portola Valley, California. Later that year, it was sold once again by Herlinger, through Fantasy Junction to Robert Mirvis, Beverly Hills, California. Mirvis kept the GTC until 2011 and when it moved to the East Coast having been sold to Clay Huber, Fredericksburg, Virginia.

November 2023 saw this 365 GTS being traded by Huber to Autosport Designs, Inc. in a multicar trade towards a 250 GT Low Roof Boano and which would certainly be eligible for the Mille Miglia Retrospective.

Currently in exceptional restored condition throughout, with known ownership history from new, it is completed with books, tools, factory jack and must be considered one of the best of its kind.
