Cannock Black with Tan leather piped Black, Beige Wilton wool carpeting, 44,000 Kilometers/ 27,000 Original miles, 5-Speed manual ZF transmission, Rare Series III Vantage V580X or better known as The X-Pack Vantage, produced from 1986-1989.
This X-Pack V8 Vantage is one of just 137 total manufactured and 1 of only 36 extremely rare left hand drive, 5-speed manual examples. Of these 36 produced, 29 are 5-speed manual gearbox and 7 are automatic transmission.
The most powerful of the production Vantages, the X-Pack produced 410bhp from its 5.3 liter engine using high compression pistons, larger valves that the standard V8, larger inlet manifold and X-Pack Zagato specification camshafts breathing through 48mm Weber carburetors. The interior now updated from the Series II V8 Vantage included a new steering column and housing, various revised switchgear and tilt adjustment for the steering wheel.
Delivered new to Sweden, this V8 Vantage was in collector ownership for the first few years of its life prior to behind sold to a Japanese collector where it was housed and cared for until 2014. In 2014, this X-Pack Vantage was purchased by a European collector and transported to the UK where it was fully serviced by well-known and respected Aston Martin marque specialist, all receipts are available. More recently it was shipped to the USA-NY-Autosport Designs, Inc. We have just recently completed a bare metal repaint in its original color to ensure this V8 Vantage is as good as one can be! This past August it was shown at The Quail A Motorsport Gathering in Carmel, California and enjoyed for a few days on the Northern California roads.
It is extremely rare to have factory LHD X-Pack V8 Vantage come to market, most are coveted and already in Aston collections. It is even more rare to have an example such as this in its original in superb original color combination, complete with original owners manual as well as factory jack and tools. It is fully serviced throughout to make ready for its next new owner and immediate use. This X-Pack Vantage is a superb and welcomed addition to any collection.
This V8 Vantage X-Pack is being offered on consignment from a well-known European collector by Autosport Designs, Inc. as a private treaty sale. It is currently registered and taxed in the UK. Should it be purchased and exported back to the UK, no import taxes will be due.
Should this V8 Vantage be purchased by a United States resident, 2.5% customs duty will be required on the agreed purchase price prior to being titled and registered in the USA.
